Water from used from minor washing in mosques are often wasted due to the lack of the water recollecting system. This group built a prototype of a system that collects all these “less contaminated” water to be reused for washing cars, watering plants and even to wash floors.

TuneStudy is a web site where users can access songs that help them memorize educational concepts. The site streams the songs to users who pay a subscription fee to access it. Composers can add their own songs to the site and generate income from users who stream their songs. Each song comes with lyrics.

CampusDelivery is a network where students can offer to deliver food to campus dorms. The application allows a student to select a menu of food items they are willing to deliver and allows other students to order those menu items for dinner. Customers add a certain amount of credit to their account by passing the money to the deliverer so that they can make orders.

One of the problems existing dating web sites is that people can write whatever they like in their profiles and this information may not be accurate. TweetDate is a service that connect people based on what they talk about. A male tweeter who talks a lot about cars might be introduced to a female tweeter who talks about similar topics and lives in the same city. The service also integrates updates from Facebook.

University students don’t often cook due several limitations, one of the reasons being that students do not know how to cook healthy food that they enjoy eating. This team is coming up with fresh food in a box, where all fresh ingredients for a certain dish are provided, including vegetables, spices and herbs. All the student has to do is put all the ingredients provided into a pan, follow the recipe provided, and voila! You have a freshly prepared dish with very little effort.

FeedMeMore is a healthy food delivery service. Customers submit lifestyle, eating habits, and allergy information and nutritionists prepare menus for the customers to consume. During the lunch break, the service delivers the food to the subscribers’ offices. The food is delivered in recyclable lunch containers which are collected the next day. The food is cooked by single mothers in a restaurant that operates during the evening, so that this service can use the kitchen at lunch.

For many pre-university and university students, finding work is difficult because employers are looking for people with university degrees, students lack and experience, students find it difficult to find information about jobs that do not require a high degree of skill.

Jobs4U puts together job opportunities that are appropriate for these types of workers. The site bridges employers who are typically not online, such as restaurants and mom-and-pop shops with students who are online by allowing employers to post job opportunities via SMS. People can also gain points and badges on the site by snapping photos of job advertisements in shop windows and uploading them to the site. The site makes money by charging employers to post their job opportunity via SMS.

This team is working on a software that helps people find products in supermarkets faster and more efficiently. It can be quite confusing for customers to find products their local supermarkets. with this software, all the customer needs to do is input what product they are looking for and they will be given easy directions on where those products are.

Campus Market is a web site that allows users to order fresh food to their dorm step. Students are often unable or unwilling to travel to the grocery store to regularly purchase food. The site allows students to order food COD and it is delivered on a schedule to their dorm.

SimpleRecipes is a web site and recipe book for people who want to do simple and easy cooking. Cooking is troublesome for many students. This site includes a wide variety of recipes that allow students to cook with a rice cooker — everything from fried rice to pancakes. The site allows users to enter ingredients they have and suggests recipes they could use.

Subscription service for shoes
Shoes as iPhones. Get multiple covers for the shoe with different colours and patterns. An iTunes store allows you to buy new patterns, which can be contributed by the crowd.

This team has created a system to help households save water. The system fills up a tank with the daily water consumption target. Once that water has been used, the system reduces the flow of water to the home.

This team is creating an anti-theft system for handbags that, when triggers, causes the inflation of a large airbag. The airbag helps protect users from the fall when being attacked by a snatch thief and makes the bag unwieldy to hold for the snatch thief. The airbag system is an accessory that can be attached to your own handbag or other tools.

Internet service provider checker. A software that will detect the internet speed every hour to make sure that the IsP is providing the speed that it promises ,if it does not we will ask for rebate on the service they have failed to provide.

This team is looking to provide hydro power to rural villages where the power grid is unavailable. However, instead of selling expensive power generators to rural villages, the team is selling the energy created by the power generators to the villagers. The hydro system uses multiple generators to create more power from the water flow.

This team is helping keep Sabah’s beaches clean. While keeping beaches clean often requires employing people to go back and forth and pick up trash, this team is creating a robot to do that job. It picks up all kinds of trash and then redeposits sand back on the beach.
